Reward Based Training

What is reward based training?

Put simply it is using rewards to train dogs - giving rewards for good behaviour and withholding rewards for behaviour we don`t like.

Instead of using out dated ideas like dominance or respect to train dogs, reward-based training looks at what motivates dogs and uses it to motivate the dog and improve your dogs behaviour.

My goal at Classy Canines dog training academy is to assist and guide owners in fostering a harmonious relationship with their dogs, encouraging pos8itive interactions and effective communication, while ensuring our canine clients are happy and develop into confident, well rounded dogs.

My classes provide a friendly, relaxed environment where you can make new friends, (dog and human) and feel confident to ask me anything you may be struggling with to make your relationship with your dog better. The most important thing is that you and your dog have fun whilst learning.

All classes will have a Whatsapp group set up so that I can be contacted if there are any problems or you need advice, I will also send out weekly emails with home work and advice.

This course is suitable for dogs from 6 months and adult dogs. If you are having specific problems with training please let me know so we can work on this during the class. The sessions are engaging and interactive to help you build a strong bond with your dog.
